Looking for a different place to hold a conference or group retreat? Then Rideau Hill Camp is the place for you!
Rideau Hill Camp is situated on 18 acres along the Rideau River, south of Osgoode, ON; a short drive outside of Ottawa. Our property includes large grassy areas, spacious dining and recreation halls, and an outdoor pavilion. Large cabins are also available for overnight stays.
RHC camp facilities are available for rent in May, June, late August, September and early October. The camp is not rented out during the summer camp season. Last years rental groups are given first option to renew their rental period. The deadline for this renewal is January 31. After that date all available dates are rented out on a first come basis. The camp is available for off season bookings for churches, youth groups, Guides/Scouts, schools, business and private rental, etc. It is a wonderful site for family gatherings or group reunions.
Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or call the camp at 613-826-2046. During the off season, when the camp is closed, please leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

When the waterfront is used for aquatic activities it must be under the supervision of at least one lifeguard who is at least 18 years of age and who holds a lifeguard certificate obtained within the previous 2 years.
The required number of lifeguards must be provided in accordance with the following:
Adequate additional lifeguards 16 yrs and older must be provided depending on number of campers in water:
- 2 lifeguards for 1 to 25 in the water
- 3 lifeguards for 26 to 100 in the water
- If more than 100 campers are in the water, one additional lifeguard is required for each additional group of 25 or less.
It is the responsibility of the renting group to insure there is a Physician, Registered Nurse or a person holding a Red Cross or St John Ambulance First Aid Certificate (or equivalent) to be present on site for the rental duration. Certification must be with them ready to be shown if requested. The renter is also responsible for all first aid supplies required to meet health and safety specifications. It is not Rideau Hill Camp’s responsibility to view certificates or govern health supplies. The renting group must have supplies and certification in case of incident or visit from the Health unit.
All rental parties serving food on premises must have a certified Safe Food Handler (or equivalent) in the service and prep area while food is handled. The certification of this person must be displayed for the duration of the rental.
Rideau Hill Camp and it’s affiliates will not be held responsible for incidents arising by the rental party from neglect or not complying with these rules, or procedures laid out in the Emergency Response for Rentals.
Lifeguards for the waterfront may be provided by the camp for an addition fee. Based on lifeguard availability.
