Since 1948 Rideau Hill Camp has offered a fun-filled camping experience in a Christian-based environment.

The purpose of Rideau Hill Camp is character enrichment through living, sharing, and developing within a Christian based environment. Campers from all denominations are welcome to attend. There is a Chaplain on the premise. Vespers and Discovery Time, are an everyday standard.

Our carefully chosen staff includes camp Director, camp administrator, health staff, chaplains, a canoe instructor, qualified lifeguards, program personnel, activity leaders,  a cook and kitchen staff. Nutritious meals and snacks are served in the dining hall with provisions for campers with dietary needs.

Five to ten campers age 6 – 16 stay in spacious cabins with an activity leader and one other staff. Parent & Tots/Family Campers share cabins with their family or their friends.  Our daily staff to camper ratio while not in cabins is between 1:5 and 1:8 depending on age. Some of our facilities include a recreation hall, dining hall, swimming pool, beach volleyball court, and trails throughout our managed forest to name just a few. Campers enjoy activities such as arts & crafts, track & trail, discovery time, vespers, canoeing on the Rideau River and swimming in the pool as well as archery and other organized games that keep bringing our campers and a good number of staff members back year after year.
