Day Camps for Skills, Camp Swim, Junior and Intermediate camps follow a Monday – Friday schedule. The dates and age groups for the day camps are the same as their corresponding overnight camp (see below). The fee is $185 per session. Included in the price of day camp is the lunch meal, a mid-afternoon snack and supplies. Please dress appropriately for varied weather conditions, swimming, canoeing, hiking, arts activities of all kinds, and extensive play. Drop off is 9 – 9:30 am and pick-up is 4:30 – 5:15 pm. After 5:15pm a cash only, late fee will be charged of $1.00 per minute and paid to the Director or their designate.
Leaders In Training – Campers 15 and 16 years old
Dates: July 3 – 6, 2018
Rideau Hill Camp offers a dynamic training program for those 15 and 16 years of age. These future leaders will be given an opportunity to discover who they are by examining their strengths and weaknesses and developing personal goals and methods of achieving them. They will have a chance to learn about different personality types, how to work with others and how to get the best result from a team. They will further develop communication skills, plan and lead activities and learn what they can bring to a team. **New this year Adulting 101** They will do this as well as enjoy the traditional program activities of camp. LIT is limited to 20 participants. All LIT participants must complete a camper application form and a LIT application form (please contact email@example.com to obtain a LIT application form).

Junior – Campers 8 to 12 years old

Invite a friend and come and enjoy the endless fun we have planned. This traditional camp offers great activities (wide games, talent nights, camp fires, canoeing and swimming) for fun and fellowship.
Theme: Once Upon a Time (fairy tale themed)

Intermediate – Campers 11 to 14 years old

Let your unique qualities shine through as you challenge yourself to try wild new things and play some crazy games, sing songs and hang out at the pool. An awesome place to make friendships and memories that will last a lifetime.
Theme: Ancient Greece (Ancient Greece/Rome, Greek Mythology, etc; themed)

Family Camp Join us with your children and explore all the wonders Rideau Hill Camp has to offer! Programming during the week is provided for parents, kids and everyone together. This camp is a wonderful way to introduce children to summer camp, for parents to rediscover the fun of being a kid, and for families to share the camp experience together.

Skills Camp – Campers 10 – 13 years old
Dates: August 12 – 18, 2018
Campers will be allowed to pre-select their area(s) of focus for this camp (up to five choices). Learn to enhance your skills in a fun environment with like-minded campers. There will be a few different streams to choose from, which will be given to you when you apply. wEpect some of the regular activities to be thrown in as well.
Theme: Gold, Silver, and Bronze (Olympics and Sports themed)
Random Dress-up Day: Wear your favourite jersey
Camp Swim- Campers 9 – 12 years old
Dates: August 5 – 11, 2018
Camper will be educated in safe water practices and are encouraged to participate and achieve their best. Due to time constraints, swim levels are unable to be awarded during this camp. This is not our regular style camp. Attending campers must be prepared to be in or on the water (swimming & canoeing) for most of this camp’s time.
Theme: Under the Sea (ocean, boats, etc; themed)

Pee Wee – Campers 6 to 9 years old
Dates: August 1 – 3, 2018
This two night stay gives our younger campers a taste of the fun that they can enjoy at camp. A low staff camper ratio ensures that there is a hand to be held by each camper. Pack your teddy bear and come to camp. It is a great extension to Family camp.

Pee Wee Plus – Campers 8 to 11 years old
Dates: July 18 – 21, 2018 This three night stay gives our younger campers a taste of the fun that they can enjoy at camp. A low staff camper ratio ensures that there is a hand to be held by each camper. Pack your favourite stuffed animal and come to camp. It is a great extension to Family camp.
Theme: Let’s Celebrate (holiday themed)

Senior – Campers 14 to 16 years old
Dates: August 19 – 25, 2018
The final week of camp is set aside for the older camper. Enjoy a fun week of camp before heading back to school. Meet up with old friends and make some new ones. Come out and enjoy all the activities that camp has to offer.
Theme: The Wizarding World of Camp (magic, wizard, witch, Harry Potter themed) Random Dress-up Day: Dress up as your favourite Harry Potter character (and or as a wizard/witch)
MULTIPLE REGISTRATIONS – Families paying full price for their child, may deduct $25.00 off the regular camp fee for each additional registration from the same immediate family. If one camper wishes to attend more than one camp per season, they will be entitled to the multiple registration discount. This discount does not apply to day camps and family members in a single P&T/Family camp. **Families wishing to attend both P&T/Family sessions may receive a Family discount
**Registering families must clearly request discount at time of registration.**
Written notice (letter or email) must be received by the camp no less than 14 days before the start of your camp session. If notice is received in the stated manner, the total funds received for the session(s) will be refunded less a $50 administration fee. Cancellations made within 14 days of session start will only be refunded under certain considerations made at the discretion of members of the Camp Council.
