The mission of Rideau Hill Camp is connecting creation through adventures, mindfulness, programs and all people.

Rideau Hill Camp fosters an inclusive community where children, youth, and families build connections with each other and nature, embrace growth, respect, and a greater sense of purpose. Through fun, friendship, and outdoor experiences our camp supports personal exploration and meaningful relationships in a safe, joyful setting. Rooted in values of compassion, reverence for the natural world and a spirit that embraces both unity and diversity, we invite everyone to explore, reflect, and grow together in the beauty of creation.

A Tradition of Friendship and Growth
Since 1948, Rideau Hill Camp has welcomed campers to a world of friendship, fun, and self-discovery. Here, kids and families of all backgrounds come together to grow in a supportive, values-driven community. Campers from ages 6 to 16 enjoy activities, games, experiences welcoming the spirit of being at camp.

Caring Leaders, Memorable Experiences
Our staff—including directors, counselors, activity leaders, administrator, health and kitchen staff—are dedicated to creating a safe, inspiring space. From lifeguards to canoe instructors, every team member is here to make each camper’s experience unforgettable.

Adventures in Nature
Explore the beauty of the Rideau River, hike our forest trails, and challenge yourself with canoeing, archery, swimming, and more. Every activity is designed to help campers connect with nature and with each other. From arts and crafts to beach volleyball and group games, there’s something for everyone at Rideau Hill. Our programs offer variety and excitement, encouraging campers to try new things, build confidence, and have fun in a safe, structured environment.

Community and Reflection
Daily camp moments like Discovery Time and Vespers bring campers together, offering chances to learn, reflect, and share. It’s a time to discover strengths, build friendships, and celebrate personal growth.

With high staff-to-camper ratios and a strong sense of community, Rideau Hill Camp is a safe place for every camper to learn, explore, and belong.
